Veterans Health Fair on August 29, 2019 at the Brookland Banquet & Conference Center
Soldiers Empowerment Group Assisting Military Individuals is sponsoring a free, one day state-wide Veterans Health Fair at the Brookland Banquet & Conference Center located at 1066 Sunset Blvd in Columbia, SC. Booths will be open from 9 am-2 pm. The health fair is designed to provide information and medical care to Veterans, Military Families as well as the General Public.
The Veterans Health Fair is being run by SEGAMI and our Official Title Sponsor is Humana and the Official Media Sponsor is WIS NEWS 10. Health screenings will include Blood Pressure Checks, BMI, Cholesterol, Hearing, Hemoglobin A1c, PSA and Vision.
SEGAMI has created an opportunity to improve the delivery of Rural Healthcare for South Carolina Veterans through this health fair. The goal of the SEGAMI Health Fair is to provide access to healthcare, early detection and preventive care.
