Since 1944, Smokey Bear has taught millions of Americans about their role in preventing wildfires.
Come celebrate Smokey Bear as he turns 75 this Friday, August 9. See Smokey in person, enjoy refreshments and have your picture taken with him. The festivities will begin at the Francis Marion & Sumter National Forests’ headquarters at 4931 Broad River Road from 10 am to noon.
