Columbia Unveils 2024 Babcock Center Christmas Ornament (Page 88)

Columbia, S.C. – Mayor Daniel Rickenmann joined representatives from the Babcock Center on November 6 to reveal the 32nd Official City Ornament, celebrating Columbia’s rich history and community spirit.

This year’s ornament features The Arcade Building, a historic landmark in downtown Columbia. Crafted with 24-karat gold on brass, each ornament comes in an elegant felt case, making it a perfect holiday keepsake or gift.

All proceeds from ornament sales will benefit the Babcock Center Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting more than 800 individuals with lifelong disabilities in Richland and Lexington counties.

Ornaments are priced at $24 and can be purchased at:

  • The Babcock Center Foundation Office, 2725 Banny Jones Avenue, West Columbia
  • The Columbia Visitor’s Center

Orders can also be placed by calling 803-799-1970 or visiting www.babcockcenter.org.

Add a touch of Columbia’s history to your holiday season while supporting a great cause!
