Blythewood High School recognized 16 members of the Class of 2025 that have announced their intention to continue their athletic careers on the collegiate level. The school held a ceremony to celebrate this accomplishment with family members and teammates. The students were - Brittany Benson (University of South Carolina-Upstate/track and field), Jackson Bottar (The Citadel/baseball), Ocianna Brown (Coastal Carolina/cheer), Tyler Davis (Erskine College/football), son of Erica Anthony, has announced his signing to play football at Erskine College in Due West, Gabrielle Jarvis (Spartanburg Methodist College/track and field and cross country), T.J. Lewis (University of South Carolina/basketball), Tiyanna Mack (Life University/wrestling), Chris O’Berry Jr. (track and field and cross country), Russell Owens (Greensboro College/football), Jaylen Reaves (Benedict College/football), Aminah Rhone (North Carolina State/track and field, Darron Robinson (Capital University/track and field). Spencer Shealy (Winthrop University/track and field), Tyler Stephens (Averett University/basketball), Sherron Waters (Denmark Technical College/basketball) and Santana Wright (Allen University/track and field).
