The Celebrate Freedom Foundation (CFF) will be hosting Operation Fighting Spirit, Kids with Cancer Day September 18 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
The event hosts children, who have cancer or who have fought the battle and won, and their family members at the CFF facility at 2533 Airport Boulevard, West Columbia which will have emergency response vehicles from organizations in the Midlands and CFF Aircraft displays.
This year there will also be military and civilian aircraft and vehicles along with other participants. Just before lunch is served there will be a parachute jump. After that all the warriors and their families will be able to enjoy a lunch. During this time, the warriors will receive a special gift that will be awarded to them for their bravery.
If you are interested in sponsoring this event, donating supplies needed, volunteering or being one of our participants, please contact Missy Robbins by phone at 803-822-8812 or email at [email protected].
