Both the Westwood boys and girls varsity basketball programs were recipients $25,000 checks from the Nike/Hibbett Sports – F1rst String Initiative. As part of the program, each player received a $500 gift card and Nike gym bag. A scholar from each team will receive a First String scholarship worth $5,000 annually towards their college studies. They will also be eligible for an internship program with Hibbett/Nike.
