Columbia, SC – Spring Valley High School girls basketball coach Megan Assey has been honored with the 2025 Travis Perry Braveheart Award by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association (SCAAA).
Named in memory of Travis Perry, the late Greer High School head coach and athletics director, the Braveheart Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, perseverance, and dedication to student-athletes. Coach Assey was among five recipients honored during SCAAA’s annual meeting.
