The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program offering $25 vouchers to low-income seniors living in Richland County starts Monday, June 6. Seniors must qualify for the program to receive vouchers to buy fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables from authorized farmers this summer. Each qualifying individual will receive $25 in the form of five checks to purchase the produce.

How to Qualify:
· Must be a low-income senior aged 60 or older
· Have a valid driver’s license or state issued ID (must be presented to pick up)
· Live in Richland County

Senior citizens must apply in person June 6 through June 13 at designated locations in Richland County.

Open June 8 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Delta Life Development Ctr. – 5307 Fairfield Rd. Columbia, SC 29203
Open June 9 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Killian Park Rec. Center – 1424 Marthan Rd. Blythewood, SC 29016
Open June 10 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Senior Resources, Inc. – 2817 Millwood Ave. Columbia, SC 29205
Open June 13 from 1-3 p.m.

The vouchers are on a first-come, first serve basis. For further questions regarding the Richland County program contact Senior Resources, Inc. at 803-252-7734.
