The team received an automatic bid to compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament that was held in Indiana.

At Ridge View, Wilson was a member of two boys’ basketball championship teams (2018, and 2019) and completed the BioHealth Sciences Magnet Program. At Georgetown, he majored in Finance.
