The S C Philharmonic presents the 10th Anniversary of Tasting Notes (Page 128)

The 10th Anniversary of Tasting Notes, presented by the South Carolina Philharmonic, is set to take place on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the SC State Museum in Columbia. Tasting Notes is the orchestra's signature fundraising event, featuring a delightful combination of wine, food, music, and community spirit.

Event Highlights:

  1. Date and Time: Monday, March 25, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
  2. Location: SC State Museum, 301 Gervais St., Columbia, SC.
  3. Tickets: $100 per person, $150 per couple, available for purchase at www.scphilharmonic.com.
  4. Admission: Includes all food and libations.
  5. Featured Entertainment: Music by Mark Rapp and the ColaJazz Foundation, as well as the Dreher High School Steel Drum Band.
  6. Additional Attractions: Silent auction, cash cigar bar by Stoney Creek Cigars, and beer by Columbia Craft Brewing.

Event Purpose: This year, Tasting Notes will specifically fund the South Carolina Philharmonic's education and community outreach programs. The organization aims to expand its initiatives, including the Healing Harmonies program, Link Up program, and the introduction of new programs like Music in My Neighborhood.

Restaurant Partners: The event promises a lavish tour of the senses with culinary delights from Columbia-area restaurant partners, including Blue Marlin Steaks & Seafood, Bourbon Columbia, COA Agaveria Y Cocina, Motor Supply Co. Bistro, and many more.

Featured Wineries: Guests will have the opportunity to savor wines from renowned wineries such as Orin Swift, St. Supery, Martin Ray, Kobrand International, Palm Bay, Louis Martini, Rombauer, and more.
