Medical Group Hosts Community Health Expo 2024 (Page 122)

The South Carolina Air National Guard 169th Medical Group will host a Community Health Expo on Saturday April 6, 2024, at the Garners Ferry Adult Activity Center, 8620 Garners
Ferry Road Hopkins S.C. 29061.

The expo is a cooperative health educational initiative hosted by the SCANG in conjunction with S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, and numerous community partners.

"The strength of the 169th Medical Group lies not only in its expertise but in its commitment to forging partnerships with community resources. By harnessing the collective power of our skills and local support networks, we can extend the reach of healthcare beyond clinic walls, touching the lives of those who need it most. Together, through collaboration and compassion, we can build healthier, more resilient communities." said Senior Master Sgt. Tanya Joseph, event coordinator and 169 MDG Health Systems Supervisor.

The expo begins at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 2:00 p.m. and is open to Richland County residents. There will be medical demonstrations and giveaways.

Questions can be directed to the 169th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office, 803-647-8208 /
