The Blythewood girls’ wrestling team is currently third in the latest SCMAT.COM Top 20 rankings.
The Lady Bengals finished second this past weekend at the Collin Rose Classic at Stall High School. Defending 2-time state champion Tiyanna Mack (130 lbs.) and Abby Ely (190 lbs.) both top first place in their respective weight categories.
Gabrielle Cook (170 lbs.) finished in third place and Eurora Daunheimer (100 lbs.), Kami Burba (140 lbs.), Audra Petroff (155 lbs.) and Kennedy Mitchell (235 lbs.) all finished in fourth place.
Blythewood will compete in the S.C. State Qualifier on Jan. 25.
