Lexington County Master Gardeners Association will host a plant sale at the Midlands Fall Plant and Flower Show October 7-9 at the State Farmers Market.
Shop for those hard to find native and cultivar perennials grown by Master Gardeners.
There will be hundreds of plants available including Succulents, Daylilies, Camellias, Herbs, Coneflowers, Beauty Berry, Hellebores, Bletilla, RainLilies and Turk’s Cap. Many varieties of these plants are not widely available for purchase. So come out and help support this local non-profit community organization by visiting the booth at the Plant Show.
They will have passalong plants for all seasons and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice on planting. Also the group will have its Country Store assortment of books, pots, plant supplies, tools and gifts available.
All proceeds from the sale will support the “Sam Cheatham” Scholarship fund for students majoring in horticulture.
Plant and Flower Show hours will be 8 am – 6 pm October 7 and 8; 10 am – 4 pm October 9.
The State Farmers Market is at 3483 Charleston Highway in West Columbia.
