The South Carolina Philharmonic is bringing holiday cheer to Columbia with its festive concert, Home for the Holidays, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Koger Center for the Arts. This special event, led by Music Director Morihiko Nakahara and Director Chad Henderson, promises a fun evening filled with music, dance, and holiday spirit for the whole family.

What to Expect:
This concert is a lively variety show that features classic holiday songs like “Jingle Bells,” “The Christmas Song,” and “Sleigh Ride.” Guests will enjoy a special duet of “The Prayer” by opera singer Johnnie Felder and singer Cat Galan, as well as performances by the Columbia Choral Society, singing favorites like Twas the Night Before Christmas and music from the movie Home Alone.

Talented performers like CammWess from The Voice, singer Cat Galan, musical theatre performer Michael Hazin, and opera star Johnnie Felder will join the Philharmonic for the show. The Cola Rep Dance Co. will also perform, adding exciting movement to the night.

Family Fun and Surprises:
Santa Claus will make a special appearance, making this a perfect event for families and kids. With colorful lighting designed by Marc Hurst, the concert is sure to bring extra holiday magic to the stage.
