Clemson University commit Caroline Hawkins closed out her high school golf career in historic fashion Tuesday.
The Blythewood High School senior shot a 3-over-par 75 to win the Class 5A Division I tournament at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg by one stroke.
The tournament was shortened a day due to rainy weather.
It was Hawkins’ fourth straight individual title, breaking a 3-way tie for the state record shared with Chesnee’s Olivia Roberts and Strom Thurmond’s McKenzie Talbert.
