Sophomore Caroline Hawkins of Blythewood earned the S.C. Coaches Association of Women’s Sports Class 5A Golf Athlete of the Year. The 2-time state champion was honored at the organization’s annual banquet held June 8 at Brookland Baptist Church.
Other local winners included Ashley Boulware (softball) and Molly Turner (cheer) of Gray Collegiate Academy, Meredith McEnulty (volleyball) of Gilbert, Emily McMahan (swimming) of Dutch Fork and Ava-Claire Collins (girls lacrosse) and Taylor Graves (cheer) of Chapin.
