The Blythewood girls’ tennis team finished second in the “Gold Bracket” of the third annual Kathryn Kleckley Memorial Girls High School Preseason Invitational Tennis tournament. The Lady Bengals finished 3-1 with a lone loss in the final against tournament winner Lexington. Sponsored by the Lexington Area Tennis Association and the Kleckley family, the 3-day tournament was held this past weekend at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center. Proceeds from the tournament were donated to a scholarship fund awarded to a high school girl who will play tennis at the college or club level.
