The Blythewood boys varsity volleyball team opened its first season Monday at home. It was a tri-match in which the Bengals defeated Sumter 2-0 (25-4, 25-9) and defeated A.C. Flora 2-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-11) to complete the sweep. They return to action Tuesday at Indian Land to open region play.
