Get ready, Columbia! After a six-year hiatus, the high-energy, internationally acclaimed UniverSoul Circus is returning to the Midlands with its all-new Rhythm of the World production. The show runs from April 24 through May 4 under the iconic Big Top tent at Columbia Place Mall, 7201 Two Notch Road.

Celebrating 31 years of jaw-dropping performances and cultural celebration, UniverSoul Circus fuses traditional circus arts with music, dance, and theater. This year’s show promises something for everyone—flying acrobats, gravity-defying stunts, fire breathers, stilt dancers, and hilarious clowns, all set to a lively global soundtrack featuring R&B, gospel, Latin, hip-hop, pop, and world beats.

Founded by Cedric Walker, UniverSoul Circus has become one of the nation’s top-rated family events, entertaining more than 25 million people. “Our Rhythm of the World production celebrates not only the world’s top circus performers, but also the unity of people from all walks of life,” Walker said. “It’s a powerful reminder of the universal values of love, respect and togetherness.

  • Double Vision, a strongman balancing act from the Dominican Republic
  • Zhukau Swing, an acrobatic Russian act
