VA benefits counseling available

The Department of Veterans Affairs Columbia Regional Office Columbia Regional Office Home (va.gov) is encouraging the public to take advantage of all opportunities to speak with a Veterans Benefits Administration counselor either over the phone or in person.

COVID-19 guidelines are being followed to include wearing masks, sanitizing surfaces and the use of plexiglass shields. Virtual appointments can be scheduled at your convenience. Appointments with the Public Contact team can be scheduled by calling 803-647-2488 or by e-mailing [email protected].

Appointments with the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) team can be scheduled by calling 803-647-2400. Virtual Drop-In with live VR&E counselors are available Monday through Thursday from 9 am – 3 pm by calling 872-701-0185 with a Conference ID of 482 913 278 (and then press #).

To discuss benefits during in-person appointments such as compensation for service-connected disabilities, pension, aid and attendance and Veteran Readiness and Employment contact the Columbia VA Regional Office Public Contact and Veteran Readiness & Employment at 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia. Public Contact and VR&E: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 am – 4 pm; Wednesday 8:30 am – 4 pm.
