The Greater Columbia Rose Society is hosting an outdoor educational session, How to Prune Roses, on March 4 from 8:30 – 11 am at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Prisma Health Richland Hospital is located at 5 Richland Medical Park Drive. The Rose Garden is in front of the hospital by the water fountain.
Roses are a symbol of love and beauty and cultivating the flower of love is also a labor of love, so the experts at The Perfect Rose team will be on hand to teach with hands-on experience on pruning rose bushes.
Accredited by the American Rose Society, as Consulting Rosarians, co-owners Robert Myers and Jack Page bring strength to every garden and every rose-growing challenge.
Award-winning horticulturist Robert Myers has received regional and national acclaim for his talents in the cultivation and care of roses. He is an accredited Rose Judge and has also been appointed as a permanent member/jury for the Biltmore International Rose Trials.
From bed design and installation to preventative spraying and fertilizing, The Perfect Rose provides reliable, professional care for residential rose gardens throughout the Carolinas. They also work with commercial clients, schools, churches, nursing homes, homeowner’s associations and more.
Covid-19 safety practices will be in effect.
Bring gloves, garden pruning shears, kneeling pads, and a folding chair if desired or just come and observe.
