Richland County needs poll managers for the June 9 Primary and the November 3 General Election.

Some long-serving poll managers, particularly those that fall into high-risk categories, have decided that working the polls in June is not worth the associated risk to their health.

If you are willing and able to serve, Richland County needs you.

The county will be taking steps to help make polling places as safe as possible for voters and poll managers, including providing

  • Masks
  • Face shields
  • Gloves
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Sanitizing wipes
  • Disposable cotton swabs for making touchscreen selections.
  • Online training on new COVID-19 procedures.
  • There will also be higher pay for Poll Workers who work these elections.
