The Richland County Recreation Commission (RCRC) is releasing their Game Plan Summer Guide that offers various events such as: family activities, special events and athletic programs for residents of all ages!

Looking for fun activities to enroll your family members in for the summer? RCRC has you covered! Events include RCRC Cares, several Back-to-School events, sports lessons, sports leagues, technology classes, performing arts, field day, ice cream socials and so much more!

RCRC is geared up for the summer swim season too! All four of our facilities are open to patrons to enjoy with a free membership. Bring your own chairs and umbrellas to stay cool in the shade. Trenholm and St. Andrews Parks are open Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hopkins and Eastover Parks are open Wednesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visit richlandrec.com to register for a free pool membership and sign up for the days you want to swim.

Swim Lessons and Water Aerobic classes are offered throughout the week at Trenholm Park, Hopkins and St. Andrews pools! Swim lessons cost $40 for the season with lessons available in the mornings and evenings. Pools are open for summer season from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Back to School Bash: a drive-thru event starting in August that offers students and teachers a chance to collect more school supplies before the semester begins. Tables will be set up in the parking lots of Friarsgate Park, Polo Road, St. Andrews, Meadowlake, Eastover Park, Ridgewood, Bluff Road Park and the Pine Grove Community Center.

RCRC Cares Rec2Go is a series of free events held throughout the month of June. The events contain music, snacks, and giveaways. Giveaways for the children will include toys, games, and activities. The events will be held at Crane Forest, Starlite, Killian, Crossroads Community Center and Summerhill neighborhood park.
