Columbia, SC – The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has crowned Mary Elle Marchant, Miss River Bluff’s Teen, as Miss South Carolina’s Teen 2024. Marchant, an 18-year-old from Lexington, recently graduated from River Bluff High School and wowed the judges with her exceptional talent and poise.
Marchant captivated the audience and judges with a musical theatre dance performance to “I Hope I Get It” from A Chorus Line. Her impressive performance earned her the Preliminary Winner titles in both the Teen Evening Gown and Teen Talent award categories. For her outstanding achievements, Marchant was awarded a $12,500 savings bond and the honor of representing South Carolina at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition.
“We are thrilled to see Mary Elle Marchant take on the role of Miss South Carolina’s Teen 2024. Her dedication, talent, and charisma make her a fantastic representative of our state,” said a spokesperson from the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization.
In addition to Marchant’s victory, the competition also recognized four other outstanding delegates as runners-up:
- First Runner-Up: Tess Ferm, Miss Daniel Island’s Teen
- Second Runner-Up: Le’Daviah Terry, Miss Columbia’s Teen
- Third Runner-Up: Madison Harbin, Miss Greer High School’s Teen
- Fourth Runner-Up: LilyKate Barbare, Miss Greater Greer’s Teen
