IRMO, SC – Get ready to be dazzled as Holiday Lights on the River returns to Saluda Shoals Park starting Monday, November 27, running nightly through December 31. This beloved holiday tradition, the largest drive-through light show in the Midlands, offers a magical experience for families and friends with over a million lights and hundreds of animated displays.

Visitors will enjoy a 3-mile route featuring themed areas like the 12 Days of Christmas, Lake Murray Country, and a patriotic section that celebrates the season. New attractions this year include:

  • A 3D animated reindeer carousel designed by students from Lexington-Richland School District 5.
  • An addition to the Saluda Shoals Train display.
  • A holiday farm scene.
  • Dual Winter Wonder Tube Slides.

Beyond the Lights:
Admission also includes fun activities like hayrides, train rides, and a laser light show along the Wetland Walking Trail. Families can write Letters to Santa, roast marshmallows, and shop at Santa’s Claus’et Gift Shop. Santa himself will be available for visits and professional photos on select dates: November 29-30, December 6-7, and December 13-23.
