COLUMBIA — The Columbia-Richland Fire Department has begun collecting donations for its sixth annual Firefighters Feeding Families Holiday Food Drive.

Residents are encouraged to donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items, which will be distributed to families in need during the holiday season. Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours through Dec. 19 at fire stations throughout the City of Columbia and Richland County.

The annual drive is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to supporting the community beyond emergency response.

A complete list of fire station donation sites is available on the department’s website.
