Extraordinary Headhunters, a staffing company founded by Irmo residents Julius and Kiara Streater, has earned the Better Business Bureau’s large business of the year award.
The Streaters were also recently recognized among the Best and Brightest Under 35 selected by Columbia Business Monthly.
Kiara serves on the Board of Directors for several companies nationwide and is the brains behind “Working Wednesday,” an ABC TV segment geared towards assisting those with limited resources with job research. She serves on the Forbes Business Council committee and is a member of the United Way’s Young Leaders Society and Women in Philanthropy. Kiara also founded her own non-profit, Women Inspiring Girls, to support young girls and teens as they become professionals and leaders.
Most recently, the Streater’s set their goals on finding work for those impacted by Covid-19 and took these efforts even further by creating a Covid-19 giveback fund that has so far contributed more than $50,000 to those in need, all while employing more than 200 plus individuals during the pandemic and partnered with Ambuluz to provide free Covid- testing all over the State of South Carolina.
