National EMS Week (May 21-27) celebrates the emergency medical service profession and its providers, shining a spotlight on first responders. This year, Richland County EMS recognized a paramedic and an EMT from each shift who consistently work well with others, maintain a positive attitude and are dedicated to fulfilling the mission of County Government.
The following received the most nominations from fellow EMS employees:
A-shift: Sgt. Paul Taylor (paramedic) and EMT Keith Asbill
B-shift: Cpl. Patrick Dineen (paramedic) and EMT Michaela Taylor
C-shift: Cpl. Buddy Duncan (paramedic) and EMT Danielle Nehil
D-shift: Cpl. Jessica Davis (paramedic) and EMT Connor Radtke
Each employee received a certificate of appreciation signed by Capt. Winta Adams and the employee’s shift captain, along with a gift basket and clothing items.
