State House District 75 candidate Tracy Robins has landed a major endorsement with the backing of 5th District Congressman Ralph Norman.
“It is my great pleasure to endorse Tracy Robins for the State House of Representatives,” said Norman. “Tracy is the kind of solid, hard-working, conservative fighter that the House needs to grow their ranks.”
Robins is challenging first-term incumbent Democrat Heather Bauer for the seat that covers much of Forest Acres and South Columbia.
Robins said “There is no greater fighter for conservatism and constitutional freedoms in Washington than Congressman Norman. I am thrilled to have his support.”
Norman’s support comes as Robins has been crisscrossing the district meeting voters and offering her ideas as a conservative reformer for the district. Robins’ Official Campaign Kickoff is open to the public and takes place at Gregg Park Clubhouse on Saturday, January 13th at 1:00 pm.
The need to make the Republican supermajority in the State House of Representatives more conservative makes Robins stand out for the congressman:
“With large Republican majorities in the state legislature South Carolina needs a conservative majority to match.” Norman added, “It is vital that voters send Tracy to the statehouse to protect our tax dollars and protect our values.”
Robins, a former public school teacher, athletic coach and a local conservative activist, is excited about the direction of her campaign:
“The momentum has continued to build every day. The people of the district are yearning for a representative who will listen to them every day and truly make a difference at the statehouse.”
Robins is currently unopposed for the Republican nomination. Should she draw any Republican opponents, the Republican Primary will take place on Tuesday, June 11th with the general election on Tuesday, November 5th.
