Fort Jackson, SC – The Columbia Recruiting Battalion, stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, recently concluded its highly successful “STEM Roadshow,” held from March 11th to 15th. This innovative event, spotlighting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), spanned three states and made stops at five prestigious high schools. Adding to the event’s prestige, General Officers and Senior Enlisted Leaders returned to their hometowns to lend their support to the recruiting efforts.
The “STEM Roadshow” showcased the U.S. Army’s commitment to STEM education and the diverse career opportunities available beyond combat roles. Soldiers from all four Major Commands presented cutting-edge STEM-related equipment worth millions of dollars, providing students with firsthand exposure to advanced technologies.
