Shandon United Methodist Church is holding its 20th Annual Garage Sale this Friday, August 9 from 8 am to 2:30 pm, and this Saturday, August 10 from 8 am to 1 pm.
The sale will take place at 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, at the corner of Devine, Millwood, and Adger.
The church gymnasium will be filled with items from electronics and lamps to furniture, toys, holiday decorations, kitchenware, linens, framed art, crafts, and tools, there is something for everyone. Only cash will be accepted as payment.
This annual Garage Sale is the church’s primary fundraising event, and all proceeds will be donated to charities. Over the past 19 years, the church has donated more than half a million dollars to organizations such as the Harvest Hope Food Bank, Cooperative Ministries, SisterCare, Family Shelter, the Free Medical Clinic, and Killingsworth Home.
