March is National Women’s History Month and what better way to celebrate and honor Women Service Members? If you are a Woman Servicemember, treat yourself by claiming your rightful place in history – register with the Military Women’s Memorial. If you have a Woman Servicemember in your family, honor her service by encouraging her to register. If your great great grandmother served, honor her memory by registering her with the Military Women’s Memorial. Every women’s story matters, no matter how long they served, where they served, what they did or their rank.

Who can register? Any woman who is serving or has served in the US Armed Forces, Reserves and National Guard, women who served in the US Public Health Service, NOAA, the Merchant Marines, and those who served overseas during conflicts in the “We Also Served” categories such as the Red Cross, USO, Salvation Army, YWCA and YMCA.

Every Woman Servicemember, active, retired or a veteran deserves to be represented alongside the 304,00 women already registered. Registration is FREE and easily completed online in 5 minutes at womensmemorial.org. Upon registering, a woman is able to document her service, add a photo and tell a story about her time in the military. Those records are preserved forever and family members can view their Servicewoman’s profile at the Military Women’s Memorial in Washington, DC.
