The CDP program of the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioner’s promotes standards of excellence in dementia education to health care professionals and front-line staff who provide services to dementia clients. The goal is to develop and encourage comprehensive standards of service in direct-care skills, education, and sensitivity in the area of dementia care.
