At the recent National Night Out in the Brookhaven Community the Richland County Sheriff’s Department gave the community the Sheriffs Crime Watch of Excellence Award. The community was visited by the many teams within the Sheriff’s Department.
The D.A.R.E car, Sheriff CAT, Canine Team, RCSD Kid Print program, and Crime Scene was were all present.
The Brookhaven Community is starting their first Bingo Night and Game Night in September. Residents of the Brookhaven Community should RSVP if they want to attend. There are limited spaces for each night. RSVP at [email protected]
The Brookhaven Community Annual Fall Yard Sale will be September 21. Homes within the community will be setting up their own yard sale.
The Annual Brookhaven Community Craft Vendor Fare will be held October 5. Participants will be residents of the community showcasing their crafts and their businesses.
Every Thursday night residents join the Brookhaven Brigade to collect the trash around the community.
