Ridge View is headed to the third round of the Class 5A Division I playoffs.

Coming off a bye week, the Blazers defeated Spartanburg 29-21 at home to advance to the third round.

Running back Spencer Bobian rushed for two touchdowns in the first half. A 3-yard touchdown run by Adam Keefe gave Ridge View a 22-14 halftime lead.

The Blazers extended their lead to 29-14 with two minutes left in the third quarter.

Up next is a road matchup with second-seed Dorman, who defeated Blythewood 44-13 at home.

Quarterbacks James Veasey and Caedmon Watson both threw a touchdown for the Blazers (4-8).

The 2025 season also ended for Westwood on the road. The Redhawks were defeated 48-20 by Berkeley in the Class 5A Division II Lower State playoffs.

Angelo Rios had two touchdowns in the third quarter. He had a 5-yard scoring run and caught a 15-yard scoring pass from Josiah Henryhand.

Westwood ended the first year under head coach Steven Burris with a 7-5 record.
