South Carolina based TrueScale Records (TSR) has enlisted Warner Music and ADA Worldwide for global distribution. TrueScale Records was founded by Phillip Michael Gilchrist. Gilchrist, a recording artist, musician and producer will lead the team in identifying, developing, and producing young talented artists in a multitude of genres.

The label, which is African American owned, is looking to focus on the Black creative experience and offer “full Artist Development services as the centerpiece to young artists,” according to Gilchrist.

“We’re happy to welcome Phil, Steve, and the entire TrueScale team to ADA,” said Randy Derebegian, VP, Label Management, ADA Worldwide. “We look forward to expanding their footprint from South Carolina and helping TSR’s community of artists realize their visions around the world.”

In 2022, TrueScale is set to release singles and albums from Gilchrist along with Lew McKenzie, Mollie Hanna and others. Gilchrist will also be collaborating with these artists.

“As we celebrate Black History Month in February and the significant contributions of entertainment and music legends in the Civil Rights movement, we are thrilled to have Phil and our catalog of artists join the amazing teams at ADA and their vast footprint in the music market space” says Phillip Gilchrist, Executor.
