Event organizers in Columbia have an exciting opportunity to learn how to secure city funding for their non-profit events. On January 22, the City of Columbia will host a seminar from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Busby Street Community Center (1735 Busby Street).

The session, part of an ongoing workshop series, is designed to guide event managers through the process of planning, producing, and funding their events. Topics will include event management basics, staffing, risk management, insurance, and sponsorship.
