The Boardr, one of the nation’s premier skateboarding contest series, is returning to Irmo this spring, bringing high-energy competition and community spirit to the local skate scene.
The two-day event is scheduled for March 27–28 at Friarsgate Skate Park, located at 1113 Friarsgate Blvd. Skateboarders of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete, while spectators are encouraged to attend and enjoy the action.
Known nationally for its inclusive format and professionally run events, The Boardr offers an accessible contest experience for beginners alongside challenging competition for experienced riders. Organizers emphasize that the event is as much about celebrating skate culture as it is about competition.
