The South Carolina Green Industry Association (SC Green) will host its annual Conference and Trade Show at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 29 and 30, bringing together over 120 exhibitors and 16 industry speakers to cover a broad range of landscape and horticulture topics.

Attendees can choose from presentations on weed and fire ant control, tree management best practices, soils and turfgrass, technical lighting and irrigation classes, as well as business sessions focusing on pricing strategies and leveraging artificial intelligence in the landscape industry. The conference will open with a keynote address by Dr. Charlie Hall of Texas A&M University.

Scholarships totaling $24,000 will be awarded to collegiate horticulture programs across the state. In addition, attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for certifications including South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, and North Carolina Landscape Contractor.

“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity again for an affordable, one-stop educational conference and trade show,” said David McLemore, SC Green Board President. “We look forward to networking and bringing our industry together.”
