Dutch Square Center will be hosting a job fair  this Wednesday, November 15 from 3 – 6 pm.

In an effort to help employers prepare for their workforce needs for the holiday season, the second chance job fair is designed to not only meet that need, it also provide and opportunity for disadvantaged job seekers to obtain employment.

“There is a need for this type of job fair,” said Kimani Davis, President of Ynotu2 Inc. “There are a lot of people who are facing barriers in terms of finding employment. At the same time, there are a lot of employers who are willing to help. We’re connecting the two.”

There a number of programs and individuals doing work to prepare these individuals for the work force, some just need access to the companies who are willing to hire.

Local non profits and community programs will be promoting:

  • Education Assistance
  • Career Development
  • Expungements/pardons
  • Business Education and more
