Starting on July 29, teams from various Richland County departments began a coordinated effort to remove blight from a property in Northeast Richland. The clean-up involves the demolition of two structures on the premises, which have been deemed hazardous and unsafe by the County.

This initiative is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain the health and beauty of the community. Residents are encouraged to contribute to these efforts by reporting any unsightly properties or potential hazards in their area. To report blight, please contact the County Ombudsman’s Office at 803-929-6000.
