The Cardinal Newman girls’ tennis team went 3-1 and defeated Heathwood Hall 4-2 to win the “Silver” Division of the third annual the third annual Lexington Area Tennis Association Kathryn Kleckley Memorial Girls High School Preseason Invitational Tennis tournament. Sponsored by LATA and the Kleckley family, the 3-day tournament was held this past weekend at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center. Proceeds from the tournament were donated to a scholarship fund awarded to a high school girl who will play tennis at the college or club level.
