The Blythewood girls golf team earned a spot in the Class 5A Division I golf tournament final. The Lady Bengals, led by medalist Caroline Hawkins, shot a 353 to place fourth in the Upper State tournament held Tuesday at Wildwood Country Club in Lexington. The Lexington girls’ golf team shot a team score of 328 to beat out Dorman by five strokes and River Bluff by 10. The top eight teams will compete in the two-day final at Columbia Country Club starting Monday.
