The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA) has announced that Dr. Alexandra Gaudin, MD, FAAP, has been named to Columbia Business Monthly’s 2026 Best & Brightest 35 and Under.
The annual recognition honors rising leaders throughout the Midlands for professional achievement and contributions to their communities.
Gaudin joined SCPA in 2025 after completing her pediatric residency at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. A native of Starkville, Mississippi, she earned a biology degree from Mississippi State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Gaudin takes a patient-first approach to pediatric care, emphasizing preventive medicine, family education and helping families connect with resources that support their children’s well-being.
“As both a mother and a pediatrician, I understand how much parents want to feel confident that their children are receiving the very best care,” Gaudin said. “It is wonderful to be recognized alongside so many talented young leaders in the Midlands. I’m excited to continue growing as a physician and finding ways to make a positive difference for children and their families.”
“Dr. Gaudin represents the kind of physician who makes the South Carolina Pediatric Alliance a place that families know they can trust for the comprehensive care of their children from newborns to young adults,” said Mark Delahunty, chief executive officer of SCPA. “She brings energy and compassion to every exam room, and we couldn’t be prouder to see her talent celebrated across the Midlands business and medical communities.”
Gaudin will be honored with the other Best & Brightest 35 and Under recipients at an awards celebration hosted by Columbia Business Monthly. She also will be featured in the publication’s September edition.
The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance was formed in 2015 when pediatricians from Sandhills Pediatrics and Palmetto Pediatrics joined forces. The organization provides pediatric care from newborns through young adulthood and focuses on combining its history of trusted care with convenience and innovation. All SCPA locations are certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as Patient-Centered Medical Homes.
